Italian designer duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana expand their floral Dolce collection with an exuberant fragrance filled with magnificent roses. Dolce Rosa Excelsa is a delicate and elegant fragrance that combines innocence and romanticism. The composition opens with bright notes of neroli mixed with the cheerful and delicate aroma of papaya flower. The top notes fade into a white floral accord of daffodil and water lily, a prelude to the intense heart that emerges. A rare variety of wild rose from the South African coast, never before used in perfumery, offers its pure, luminous and soft scent to the middle notes of Dolce Rosa Excelsa. The heart of the composition is completed by the intense aroma of Turkish rose. Both varieties complement each other perfectly to create a perfect and unique aroma of rose, the intensity of the damask rose and the delicate and noble notes of the "african dog rose" . The composition closes with a base made up of musk, sandalwood and cashmere wood. Some warm background notes suitable to end the fragrance. The Dolce Rosa Excelsa bottle maintains the shape of the original Dolce, thick glass, curved lines and a sculpted flower-shaped lid. To differentiate this version, the glass is frosted and pale pink in colour. The lid has also been changed to a deep crimson red.
